Diet sodas are marketed towards people who want to lose weight and use less amount of sugar to stay fit as diet sodas are sugar-free, artificially sweetened carbonate drinks.

The taste of diet soda is due to artificial sweeteners and also sugar with other artificial sweeteners. Opinion is of many types about the taste of these drinks. Many think that the taste of only sugar drink is best. Diet drinks leave a bitter taste after use as per many consumers. Cyclamates were the oldest artificial sweeteners. Many had the opinion that these sodas had a better taste than diet sodasthat followed.
