The sufferings from sleep terror disorder are regarded as temporary problems and often ignored. The sudden fearful coming out of sleep as if terrified of some bad dream is referred to as sleep terror disorder. It is a sort of parasomnias disorder and is technically termed to as ‘pavor nocturnus’, normally found among children aged between 3 and 12 years.
