The Neutrogena Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse Night Cream is designed to even out skin tone while fighting early aging caused by sun, stress and environmental pollutants.  The unique aggregate of botanical oils, necessary proteins and natural vitamin derivatives has, according to Neutrogena, been clinically proven to visibly reverse the signs of past damage due to external aggressors. in short , if you beat up your skin in the past with sun worship, wind damage or simply general neglect or overexposure, this night cream will help you fix the damage later. 

The night cream comes in a brown and white box with the standard Neutrogena labeling.  It should be applied each night after you have cleansed your skin, and you must massage it into your face, neck and chest using gentle, circular motions. 

While this night cream does provide velvety smooth skin, if your skin is not receptive to this kind of treatment you can experience some complications . 

* The cream contains a relatively strong scent. 
* If you have acne-prone skin, then it can cause breakouts.  Test on a tiny area of skin before applying to your whole face.

My Review

Neutrogena’s Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse Night Cream guarantees nice things, but unfortunately it only delivers on about half of them.  I am not sure what clinical studies the site is referring to that showed visible reversal of aging since none are publically available, and, sadly , while this cream does create incredibly soft, smooth velvety skin and gives each indication of being a very effective preventative measure, it just does not live up to the promises when it comes to the reversal and healing of existing skin damage.  Frankly, I am mystified, as it ought to work. 

The cream has all the right stuff : feverfew for relaxing soreness before environmental aging can set in, a natural vitamin E derivative to fix and brighten already injured skin and essential soy to provide proteins to nourish and renew your face.  As you can see , however , almost all of the important ingredients are highly effective preventatives rather than hard-core repair elements. 

As a result, this lotion does wonders for protecting minimally maltreated skin, but simply doesn’t cut it when it comes to the restoration promised on the label.  If you would like a solid, inexpensive daily moisturizer that will soften skin and help you maintain a young appearance, then this night cream is for you.  However, if you expect to correct serious damage, then you must probably look elsewhere for a solution.
