To begin with it was 4 factors, now it’s the 5 Key Factors Model. Further to our preceding post, we have now included Scientific Peer Review as the fifth key factor in our air purifier review model. Our indicates]|indicate]|enquiries [highlight]|studies [highlight] that the shortfall of scientific peer reviews is a huge setback to all the interested parties in accepting the claims of air purifier manufacturers, regardless of how respectable the latter may be. myriad of concerned parties]|There is a whole [array of concerned parties who] would love to have the issue resolved once and for all. These parties include the scientific community i.e. indoor air quality scientists, environmentalists, government agencies like the US EPA, NIOSH or Canada Health, and many in the medical community who deal with allergies, asthma and other respiratory problems . It is very vital to note that this problem is not restricted only to the ionic air purifier industry. It also plagues all other technologies in the air purifier industry, be it the well-regarded HEPA and the new-kid-on-the-block (relatively speaking) photo-catalytic oxidation, etc. It is almost as if, as a basic essential of any air purifier review, the scientific peer review is similar to the holy grail of the air purifier industry. Whoever gets it first may well have the same folkoric power of control in the multimillion dollar business. Given the utmost (no exaggeration here!) influence of a scientific peer review, it is an enigma that no one envisages it worthwhile to produce a single review. To their credit, no air purifier manufacturer has inducted one since that would annul the independence character that is the essence of a scientific peer review. What is incomprehensible is why no scientist or researcher, in particular those in the indoor air quality or environmental sciences disciplines who would seem the most capable to carry out an air purifier review, considers it worth their energies to do. We know there is value in being first in any multimillion dollar industry. The air purification industry is undoubtedly in this class. Yet no scientist would come near it all these years to produce an independent peer review. Something is amiss. Lack of initial funding is also not an issue. We know for a fact that the US NIOSH will fund a proficiently drawn up scientific peer review. Why is there no scientist or researcher willing to embark on an autonomous scientific peer review? It begs the million dollar question – is the air purification industry one big hype? One other possibility is that scientists view proving air purification technology as chasing the Holy Grail – a futile pursuit for those with limitless resources? Incredibly, we have difficulty even finding one comprehensive autonomous air purifier review. Interesting and fascinating, these stimulating questions compel us to investigate further with our 5-Key Factors Model. Our despatch, to several air purifier manufacturers, of a detailed survey based on our model met with muted response. But this only encourages us to delve deeper. To recap, the Air Purifier Review – 5 Key Factors Model is as follows: (1) Safety – in relation to the reactive agent (2) Safety – in relation to unintended by-products (3) Efficacy – the reactive agents work in the lab (4) Efficiency – the reactive agents work in the real world (5) Scientific Peer Review. Each factor of our air purifier review model has been explained fully in separate Ezine articles which you can access via the widget on our blog. Several thousands of our readers have also published our Ezine write-ups for their own subscriber base. If you have not read or published the complete set of 5, you are welcomed to. Also, do register at our blog too as we will soon launch our maiden product review utilising the Air Purifier Review – 5 Key Factors Model. More from This SitePossibly Related Posts:
