Breathing Clean Air At Home

3 July 2009 No Comment

We all want to feel we are breathing good clean air so we see that demand for air filters and air purifiers is keeping the factories of the manufacturers busy. When we see pictures of the places we live it all looks safe and welcoming but it may not be as clean and healthy as it looks in the pictures.

The air around us contains many millions very small airborne particles of dust together with tiny little organisms and bacteria that we take into our lungs as we breathe. You only have to smell the air in city streets and there is always the worry that it isn’t how things should be.

The cars, taxis and trucks pump out their exhaust gases and it can be at best unpleasant and the idea that we breathe this all in every day is a bit scary. The average person cannot change anything to clean the air out on the streets so we have to concentrate on what we can do in our own homes.

By using air filtering equipment we can scrub the air in our homes and we could even go further with air filter purifiers and killing micro organisms that are floating around us. There are whole house systems that can be installed to protect your family and they are great for clean air around the home but it causes a lot of disruption to have trunking installed everywhere and it will be expensive to have this work done.

There is a more convenient solution to this problem and that is to use portable air purifiers placed around your home in one or more rooms. For most people this would mean you would have them in each room that you use such as living area and bedrooms and since they are usually used at different times.

You can use a single portable unit and simply take it to the room you are going to be in when you wake up in the morning or at night when you go to bed. These portable air filters are usually designed to be simple to move around and can simply be wheeled around your home.

We should all be concerned about the significant proportion of our children who sometimes find breathing difficult without understanding why. They have every right to expect to breathe clean and pure air and if that helps them we must become more active and do anything we can to provide them with good air.It is unfortunate that we need to do this but we have to deal with problems and we must overcome it by making sure the air is the best we can make it for them
